Long holds with deep stretch

Yin based calming yoga (60 mins)   |  Wednesdays @ 7.15PM

Harness your Power, Peace & Freedom by mindfully calming down body and mind thru the intelligence of the breath.  This hatha yoga class will focus on the seated and lying yoga poses and the use of props that allow all participants to experience poses more easily and fully. Using both static and dynamic stretching, breathing techniques are incorporated to relax muscles, deepen the stretch, and increase flexibility.

The end of each class will vary from week to week.   It might end with some static Yin posture, or a restorative one or with a 15 – 20 minute Yoga Nidra or “Yogic Sleep” session.

The conclusion of the class is an effective and efficient way to access the “rest and digest” parasympathetic state or relaxation which is where healing transpires.

This class is intended to help you rest, restore, de-stress, increase awareness, undo bad habits, and eventually understand your true calling and higher purpose. This class is beneficial for anyone under constant stress, pressure or time demands and in need of relaxation and stress reduction.
