Mitra found Yoga as an instrument to heal her past trauma, prevent future suffering and live in peace. She practiced Power yoga for 7 years and passionately started studying Iyengar yoga in 2014.
Her non-dogmatic teaching style are influenced by the many exceptional teachers whom she had the opportunity to work with (such as Randy Just, Paula Weithman, Carla Rudiger, and Tias Little). She earned her 200 hr RYT from Dallas Yoga Center.
Mitra encourages her students to practice deep inquiries, observation and mindfulness. She compassionately assists students in their physical, emotional, and spiritual growth.
