Tantra Kundalini

Get your fire practice going early. The class starts promptly at 5.30am, doors close at 5.40am. This is a vigorous “Tantric Fire Vinyasa” practice that includes techniques that cultivate your inner fire to burn and dispel physical and mental lethargy.

We combine the energetics of breath adaptation, asana and Vayus to awaken Prana Shakti and move Kundalini thru your spine. The class also includes teaching for some Mantras, Mudras, Pranayama and Kriyas or guided trantric meditation. (more…)

Sun Vinyasa

This is a fun vigorous class that emphasizes inhalation, backbends, twists, and heating postures.   This class will leave your body energized and your mind sharp.     The class concludes with a deep relaxation followed by pranayama emphasizing kumbhaka (retention of the breath), and a brief guided meditation.

Viniyoga ~ Yoga Therapy

Viniyoga is a remedial tradition, founded on a recognition that our physical condition, emotional states, attitudes, dietary and behavioral patterns, lifestyle and personal associations, and the environment in which we live and work are all intimately linked to each other and to the state of our health.

In this class the emphasis of the asana (postures) and breath is on function rather than form, and the science of adapting the forms of the postures to achieve different results to treat different physical, emotional and energetic conditions.

Lunch Time Yoga

Take a break from your day! Enjoy a 45 minute flow-style class that will help move your body and increase metabolism. This class is designed to provide you with that extra energy to get you through that afternoon drag and keep you invigorated throughout the day!

  • Type:  Energizing
  • Length: 45 minutes
  • When:  Monday to Friday at 11.30AM

Shakti Vinyasa Flow

An energetic flow that will change you mentally and physically to expose the true power of your inner core. Below what we can physically see, the flow will build a solid foundation while nudging you to step out of your comfort zones.In turn you will re-emerge more confident, vibrant and more aligned.

  • Type:  Energetic & Balancing
  • When:  Monday thru Thursday at 6PM
  • Length: 60 minutes.

Moon Vinyasa

A great yoga class with a calming energetic effect, helping the mind and body to experience a deeper stillness. Emphasizing and lengthening the exhalation, forward bends, long-holding postures, and concludes with a deep relaxation and guided meditation or brief yoga Nidra.

  • Type:  Calming
  • Length: 75 minutes.
  • When:  Mondays & Wednesdays at 7PM;  Also Sundays at 4.30PM

Restorative Yoga

A restorative yoga sequence typically involves only five or six poses, supported by props that allow you to completely relax and rest. Held for 5 minutes or more, restorative poses include light twists, seated forward folds, and gentle backbends.

In Restorative yoga, total relaxation is the goal.  It is the perfect ending to a stressful day.  It is also great for chronic stress situations or stress brought about from major life changes.   During class your body will be totally supported by props and you will be very comfortable so that your nervous system starts to let go and the rest of your body completely surrenders any physical and emotional heavyness.

Saturday Community Yoga

We meet on the 2nd and 4th Saturday for an energizing vinyasa flow that will sure help you to feel rejuvenated and centered.

This is a donation based class.  So you don’t have to be a member of the studio to attend.   Pay whatever you can afford!

We suggest a $10 donation for Non-members  & members with limited membership who have used all your visits.   This class is free for members with unlimited membership

  • Length: 90minutes.
  • When:   Saturdays at 9 AM

Yoga Nidra

Inspired in Parayoga’s “Relax into Greatness”

Feeling stressed? Yoga nidra (yogic sleep) uses a series of body, breath, and awareness techniques that allow the body to restore itself. Try this deeply restorative practice to relieve stress and release the body’s innate healing potential.
 
Yoga Nidra is a practice that everyone, from children to seniors, can do. It’s easy to follow at any age. All that is needed is for your body to lie down on the floor.
 
Yoga nidra promotes deep rest and relaxation that isn’t found in your average meditation practice. The stages of body scan and breath awareness alone can be practiced to calm the nervous system, leading to less stress and better health.

Students interested in private yoga lessons, receive customized solutions that involve Yoga, Ayurveda and Meditation based on your health, body type and lifestyle—and on your time.

We recommend to consider a private or semi-private session with the teacher of your choice if you are interested in revisiting or reinforcing the basics of yoga and breath, or simply need to tailor your practice to complement a sport or additional physical activity.
